What's in store for you
Park Golubino is located on the Pinega River in protected taiga. Free-flowing rivers and boreal forests are home to a variety of plants, fish and wildlife. During this tour, our guests will not only explore the natural and cultural attractions of Pinega, but also taste the traditional Northern cuisine: berries, pastries, pickles, wild fowl, dishes from cod, pike, salmon.
On a berry day, we treat out guests to juicy berry pies and jam, ripe cloudberries and traditional jelly. On a baking day you will have to forget about diet: bulky shangi, sweet-smelling vatrushka, delicious gingerbread cookies, hearty pies, fresh crunchy loaves and much more will appear on the tables during breakfast, lunch and dinner. During a field trip to the village of Pinega, you will visit a bakery and see the process of bread making, which has hardly changed in 100 years.
Pomors have long been famous for being great at fishing. They serve a variety of fish dishes: hot salmon soup (ukha), baked pike, salted pink salmon, caviar, kulebyaka (pie) and many other dishes that you will taste on a fish day at the Golubino Park.
On ordinary days, breakfast is served at the hotel with delicious cottage cheese delivered from local farm, and on a dairy day you will have a unique opportunity not only to taste dairy products, but also to get to know our farmers and their work.

Day 1
Berry Day
On this day, if you have a sweet tooth, you will be thrilled to taste berry pies, jam, juicy cloudberries and traditional jelly. Adults can try famous northern tincture.
08:00 Departure from Arkhangelsk. 3.5-4-hour drive (one stop).
Arrival at Golubino.
17:00 Check-in.
Free time. Services: in winter - ski, skating, ice slides, snow tub; riding on
"Banana", snowmobile (with an instructor); in summer – sports playgrounds, slides, swings. Sports and tourist rental equipment.
19:00 Dinner with berry treats and tasting of northern tinctures.
*Prior to departure from Arkhangelsk, we offer an excursion to Malye Korely, a spectacular open-air museum (for an additional fee – 3000 RUB per person; from 3 people). Duration: ~ 3 hours.
Day 2
Baking Day
A proverb says: “A table without bread, is not a table, but bread is a table on its own”. Baking day at Golubino is an excellent opportunity to try everything: bulky shangi, sweet-smelling vatrushka, delicious gingerbread cookies, hearty pies, fresh crunchy loaves and much more.

10:00 Excursion to the village of Pinega and a visit to a 100-year-old bakery (built in 1900).
A visit to the Pinega Museum of Local Lore.
14:00 Lunch at a restaurant.
Interactive masterclass on how to bake kalach and shangi. Free time. Services: in winter - ski, skating, ice slides, snow tub; riding on "Banana", snowmobile (with an instructor); in summer – sports playgrounds, slides, swings. Sports and tourist rental equipment.

Day 3
Hunting&Fish Trophies
Pinega forests are home to a variety of wildlife. It is no coincidence that two hazel grouses are depicted on the coat of arms of Pinega, which used to appear as the central attraction in royal menus. Pinega hunters hunt hazel grouse, black grouse, capercaillie, ducks, and geese; moose and bears. Northerners know how to cook game birds! You should try!

Day 4
Milk Day
08:00-10:00 Breakfast.
10:00 Excursion to the Krasnogorsk Bogoroditsky Monastery (inactive). Visiting the grave of Prince Golitsyn.
13:00 Lunch at a restaurant.

Day 5
Goods From The Root Cellar
This day is dedicated to traditional fermented pickles and jams: pickled cucumbers and mushrooms, sauerkraut, soaked lingonberries, jam and other supplies. You can taste them during the day, or treat yourself to a special dish from the root cellar during the dinner. We will share the secrets to preparing the perfect pickles and spend an evening playing folk games and listening to folksongs.
