What's in store for you

Enjoy the wild nature and quiet life away from the hustle of big cities! The tour is designed specifically for those who want to visit the most popular attractions located near the Golubino Forest Hotel. In 5 days, you will visit karst caves, discover various species of flora and fauna in Karst Museum of the Pinega Nature Reserve, and get acquainted with rich local history (Pinega is 10 years older than Moscow!). Learn about ancient “chud” tribes; the life of the village that used to be a major trade and fair center; a rich merchant family Volodin, and the history of the 19th-century houses. Take part in a masterclass and enjoy beautiful walks in protected forest, cozy accommodation, northern cuisine, and traditional Russian banya!

Detailed tour programme

Day 1

08:00 Departure from Arkhangelsk. 3.5-4-hour drive (one stop).

Arrival at Golubino.

17:00 Check-in.

Free time. Services: in winter - ski, skating, ice slides, snow tub; riding on

"Banana", snowmobile (with an instructor); in summer – sports playgrounds, slides, swings. Sports and tourist rental equipment.

19:00 Dinner.

Traditional Russian banya (sauna) (extra cost).

*Prior to departure from Arkhangelsk, we offer an excursion to Malye Korely, a spectacular open-air museum (for an additional fee – 3000 RUB per person; from 3 people). Duration: ~ 3 hours.

Day 2

08:00-10:00 Breakfast.

10:00 Hiking through a protected forest to the "Holy Spring" waterfall

We also offer an excursion to Kimzha – one of the most beautiful villages in Russia (extra cost)

Day 4

08:00-10:00 Breakfast.

10:00 Excursion to the former county town of Pinega (17 km, 4 hours).

Acquaintance with the rich history (Pinega is 10 years older than Moscow!): Who were Volodin's merchants? What was the life of the city that was once a large trade and fair center? What secrets are kept in stone walls of 19th century houses? A walk through the heart of Pinega - Volodinsky quarter.
